A lightweight, all-steel action that is a great choice for a hunting rifle, match rifle, or a true crossover. Available with 700 round top, or up to six scope slots on the integral 0, 10, 20, or 30 MOA scope mount and an integral recoil lug. The open top allows top loading of BDL style magazines, but it can be used with detachable magazines also.
Receiver machined from one piece of pre-hardened 416SS, Bolt machined from one piece of pre-hardened 4340 chrome moly, and threaded for interchangeable knobs, Wire EDM-cut, full-length lug ways result in smooth bolt operation, Average configuration weighs 26-32 oz.

Graphite Epoxy Fill Technology
This stock is a variation of our popular Sako Hunter stock design and is modified to fit most Remington 700 type and Savage blind magazine type actions. It has the sculptured Sako type pistol grip with palm swell and a Monte Carlo type butt with some cast off. The medium narrow forearm can be inletted for barrel contours up to about a #4 Douglas size with finished shanks of 1.5” or less. Available in true right hand and left hand versions. The high comb with cheek piece is perfect for medium to high scope rings, and / or 20moa bases.

Fits most Remington 700 type actions. Narrow to wide barrel channels accepts up to PROOF Sendero. Automation is used wherever possible starting with the high-precision cutting table that we use to cut every piece of carbon fiber material that is used in AG Composite stocks. Computer controlled curing ovens guarantee that every AG Composites stock is fully cured and will not warp or crack at elevated temperatures such as those present in the cab of a pickup truck in the summer. AG Composite stocks are also compatible with hydrographic dipping and paint processes that use elevated temperatures.

These stainless steel masterpieces of machining and lapping are intended for the competition shooter-- or even the hunter-- who wants the ultimate in accuracy and quality. These are our highest grade barrel and, of course, the most costly. What makes them so good that benchrest shooters, such as Tony Boyer, crave them? Consider this: To meet Select Match Grade criteria, the groove diameter must air gauge within .0003" of our standard diameter. Moreover, the uniformity of the bore cannot vary more than .0001" for the entire length of the barrel. These barrels are also completely stress relieved, and the bore is polished to a gleaming surface finish by our most experienced lappers.

Carbon or Steel Barrels
Carbon fiber has long been hailed across many industries—aerospace, cycling, alternative energy—as a wonder material making everything lighter and stronger. When employed in a rifle barrel the benefits extend beyond reducing weight and increasing strength. The patented manufacturing process begins with full-profile, match-grade 416R stainless steel barrel blanks. These blanks are then turned down to a significantly reduced profile greatly reducing weight. This reduced contour barrel is then wrapped with high-strength, aerospace-grade carbon fiber impregnated with a proprietary matrix resin developed by, PROOF Research ACD. The carbon fibers used have a unique ability to diffuse heat along the length of the barrel (much like fiber optics transmit light). Maintaining accuracy over longer sessions of fire, and live longer. They’re not just lighter—they’re better.
Trigger Tech
The Rem 700 Special is an upgraded version of the Primary model which further enhances accuracy and precision on any Remington 700 model rifle. Utilizing CLKR Technology™, and some additional hand refinements, the pull weight on the Special model is quickly and confidently adjusted from 1.0 - 3.5 lbs in ~1oz increments from an externally accessible set screw.
